Going Green

CoCo View Resort has gone green!

As part of an ongoing effort to reduce plastic waste here at CoCo View Resort, we have done our part to make sure we eliminate single-use plastics.

We have added solar panels as well as installed LED lights. Our mission to ‘go green’ is to promote awareness and to make a positive impact on the environment. We are doing everything we can to create an environmentally responsible experience. Here’s what we’ve done:

• All plastic straws have been replaced with bamboo straws and biodegradable compostable straws.
• Addition of biodegradable cutlery
• Using biodegradable bath tissue that breaks down four times faster than the usual tissue creating less waste going into landfills.
• Incandescent light bulbs have been replaced with LED bulbs to help conserve energy
• Installation of solar panels that now provide solar-powered hot water to the entire resort reducing energy. Solar energy is 100% clean renewable energy — and at CoCo View, we have tons of sunshine to use!
